

Richard Olson, a native of Seattle Washington, has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, from Central Washington University. He is a Nationally Registered Representative as a Securities Broker and is a Licensed Life Agent in the States of California and Washington.
Richard has a passion for helping people, in particular seniors and veterans. He has educated himself on every aspect of a little known 58 year old VA benefit called “Aid and Attendance”. He has uniquely positioned himself as an advocate to help bridge the gap between “the veteran” and the Veterans Administration to help get VA benefits for elderly veterans in need. Richard has been on Good Morning San Diego, been featured in The Press Enterprise news paper, and in February, 2009 was the recipient of the Freedom Foundation At Valley Forge National Award, Adult Community Category, and been recognized by the California State Legislature for his work with Veterans.
Richard has a colorful work history having spent 20 years in the hospitality industry primarily as an executive with Hyatt Hotels. He was Director of Sales, National Accounts at Hyatt’s National Sales Office in Washington DC from 1990 -1995. He owned and operated Perch Restaurant and Ten Beach Drive Piano Bar & Grill, located in St Petersburg FL, for several years before he entered the financial services industry. For years, Richard has worked as a professional chef and is still pretty handy in the kitchen.
Richard is currently a resident of Temecula, CA. He has a twenty Two year old daughter, Elizabeth Ann, who currently lives in Seattle. Richard is an active member of the Temecula Chamber of Commerce and numerous veterans’ organizations.
